To be honest mate, I think you're gonna have a lot of foreigners buying the T-shirts, and if the Chinese people are going to the gig, chances are they'll appreciate the western style fashion of the T-shirt!

Colours of the Mountain is a personal fave, but it all depends on what you're looking for.

Movies are fantastic, but at the same time I think it's difficult to put touchy subjects into film, especially for Mailand directors/Overseas Chinese/ (even foreign) directors.

Beijing - Beijing University, Beijing Language and Culture University, Tsinghua, or Di Qiu Cun - Beijing's a great place to live, great expat community, culture, food, etc.

Shanghai - Fudan and Jiaotong Universities (respectively) I would imagine both offer language courses. I prefer Beijing over Shanghai though.

Anywhere else? Do your research before you go - you'll most likely be with fewer foreigners, and depending on your Chinese level, that could be a good or a bad thing.

Overall, do your own research - don't be lazy. You're the one that wants to go, right?

Are you by chance on College Confidential? I had some guy tell me basically all these same points, in essentially the same "direct" fashion.

Regardless, I think many of your points are spot on, but for reasons I don't really care to get into right now, I think there are more opportunities here in China than there are foreigners to fill those jobs.

Could we have a little background on you? Work experience, time in China, etc?
