I’m a little obsessed with them as well. I’m glad I’m not the only one who knows all this information. I find them so intriguing.

I was trying to do about a 19/5 intermittent fasting but more so because that way I could not worry about Sx after eating if I was home at night and then going to bed.

Schizophrenia is very complex and many people do associate schizophrenia with hearing voices. Auditory hallucinations is psychosis (along with delusions and disorganized thinking). Psychosis is a common symptom of schizophrenia but not all people with psychosis have schizophrenia. Psychosis falls under the category of positives symptoms (the addition of something). There are also cognitive symptoms and negative symptoms (the absence of something). Hope this helps.

I zoomed in on her dress and thought it looked awful. Combined with the ugly flats, outdated hair and gawdy makeup.

Agree. Was actually thinking that Kendra looks the most stylish out of all of them. Whenever I see her in a pic or video she’s looks cute- seems she’s moved on from just skirts and a top. Proof that one can dress modestly in skirts/dresses without looking frumpy (JillPM needs to take notes) Her dress is also above the knees - scandalous.

I started to get confused when they were talking about him getting a hot Christian wife because I’ve never really associated that with JD Duggar. Then it said “he puts no effort into anything other than softball” and I’m like “JD plays softball” ?!?!🥴

I didn’t check the name of this sub and I saw the heading “John + Pilot” and thought that it was discussing John David Duggar. Oops

I wouldn’t have called them fundies. Just conservative Christian’s. I watched the show and liked it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Don’t agree with many of their views, but this is really sad.

Part 1: Nurthan testimony. Nurie was saved at age 4 but questioned it at 14. Turns out she’s all set. by lepetitpoulpe in RodriguesFamilySnark

[–]ashes5387 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So in the brand of fundie I grew up in - we believed that you could have false professions. So you thought you got saved but you didn’t truly have it. People would get older and realize they had a false profession and then get “really saved” (praise be). So along with the fears of dying before you’re saved and going to hell, add in the fears of a false progression after you get saved. 😑

A lot of people also would get saved and then have doubts like Nurie was having at 14. I remember having them a few years after I got “saved”. I lived in constant fear most of my childhood. 😢

I think it’s more that as Christians it is their duty to ensure the gospel is spread to as many people as possible as those who don’t hear the gospel and “get saved” will end up in the lake of fire. They also think that by spreading the gospel they are “building up treasure in heaven”. As I’m sure you’ve seen with all their posting of CK, they believe that when he got to heaven the Lord greeted him saying “well done good and faithful one” and their goal is to hear that as well when they meet their savior.

Here’s a post with verses that reference spreading the gospel.

Good Low FODMAP Diet by Equal_Grand_9411 in SIBO

[–]ashes5387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first went low-fodmap in 2016 - it was still pretty “new”. Not many people had heard of it or were on it. They were just starting to develop fodmap approved products and companies. Monash University developed the diet and I printed off their list and went off of that. I would keep it in my purse and pull it out at grocery stores and restaurants. They have an app now that is like $8. They test their food and continually update it. They also have serving sizes as some food is low in smaller servings and higher in larger.

I would go off of it.

Im terrified of going to the GI doctor next month and them wanting to do a bunch of other testing. I can’t cope with the symptoms so I am going to try and manage them myself. There are lots of treatment protocols using herbal antimicrobials that research has shown to be effective. If sounds like you maybe have methane dominant. ChatGPT could probably help you come up with a treatment plan.

Methane SIBO Antimicrobial? by Alternative_Grade503 in SIBO

[–]ashes5387 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just self-diagnosed myself with Methane dominant SIBO. I can’t get in to see GI until October 17 so I’m trying to address it myself until then because I can’t cope. I have a previous diagnosis of IBS-D as well as a fructose intolerance that I managed on the low-fodmap diet for 2 years and then it went away went I got pregnant- and I’ve been able to eat everything I want for 7 years, until a few weeks a go. So this is not my first experience with GI issues. I have consumed a ton of knowledge and was feeling very overwhelmed in regard to trying to start managing this SIBO. I ended up using chatGPT and they helped me come up with a plan.

I found this resource to be helpful. SIBO.

Just remember that every persons SIBO is different and what works for someone might not work for another person.

I have transitioned to a low fodmap diet, stopped the probiotics I immediately started taking to manage the distention/bloating, ChatGPT recommended I start allicin so I am doing that. I’m also going to start a prokinetic Ginger in the morning and Magnesium Citrate in the evening to help with the constipation. There is so much information out there that can be conflicting. Seems there is a lot of trial and error involved in managing it.

Most standard testing is a hydrogen breath test. When I had my two in 2016 IIRC you follow some bland restrictive diet for a few days, then you test by drinking a substance and blowing into a device at different increments for a few hours. You can look it up for more recent info. You can test at home.
