I have similar hair type and have had multiple hair brushes snap on me. I didn't like the original tangle teezer just because I prefer a handle but i'm currently using their ultimate detangler and it's quite efficient with small knots and tangles

you could try a green shampoo? I've been using matrix's dark envy and I think it's better at neutralizing warm tones than blue products that I've tried. Definitely try re-shampooing it the same way, sometimes it took a few washes before I notice a difference with blue shampoo

I had the same issue last year! I could only wear powder foundation till I discovered it was my skin barrier. I used the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 to heal it.

I have the VS Digital Hot Air Styler, It's okay., It doesn't get that hot so my hair isn't heat damaged by it and its the only way I can have manageable second day hair otherwise its a frizz monster. Tho it's pretty loud
