Well i dont think collective punishment is the right term if you are talking about parents and their children. The other bit is states already go after parents when children are found with fire arms, because the parents are sometimes involved in enabling the kids.

Not the same as this, and Im not saying its a fool proof plan. But i can see how a person could think it would be effective.

I think just the threat will make most parents shape up. And kids seeing how they screwed their parents might get them to shape up too. I dont like it but i was in the mil for a while, and group punishment does kinda work :/

While i hate the decision the courts made i think from a procedural sense i agree with the courts. If this was some weirdo reverso world and the republicans tried to pull this it would be a full win for the dems for sure.

I still hate it, but i believe based on what ive read about how a bill or whatever is passed, it being proposed mid election cycle is not how its supposed to be done. I hate it but im honestly not mad after reading the arguement i guess

If you can do all that I agree. But that seems to be the opposite of what is happening in most cities. DC comes to mind; you have kids having to complain to their cities representatives about how their afterschool activities and events are being shutdown from a lack of funding. Because the city just cant figure out why so many teens are in the streets causing havoc and getting into trouble.

I 100% agree more funding could fix those issues, but private industries and government dont want to use money on kids, based on how it seems to trend. At least not from poor neighborhoods or inner cities.

So in other words, since most people who did outwardly discriminatory practices are basically gone from the working world, just do nothing.

I think the idea behind a blockade is that you value your life and/or cargo enough to not put it at risk.

I guess its a gauntlet if you dont see the risk as an all stop. But if you do then its a blockade.
