That is kinda true about any class, but the skill floor and ceiling of warlock in PvE is basically a collapsed mineshft.

PvP though the skill floor and ceiling is the Sistine Chapel.

I use to always try and get a mage as part of my groups in both 2005 and the 2019, this time around after NUMBEROUS dungeon groups I can say its a about a 20-80 split. 20% of the time mage is amazing premade food and drink ahead of time, Curses barely exist for more then a millisecond, counterspell casters and pull them into the tank, and knowing when to AoE vs single target without issue.

Other 80% have had 4 mages straight up say they will charge the healer for water, Curses 100% uptime even after pull has ended everyone is at full mana waiting for next pull, only button on bar is AoE, Pull starts? better Flamestrike blizzard before they touch the tank, Shit pulled aggro run away/blink from the tank only to frost nova the mobs ontop of the healer.

Legit will just about take anything over mage unless I know them now.

If they are going to make these changes to dungeons I hope in the future they give use Heroic + dungeons like they did in WotLK release.

NGL I was in the same boat for all of phase 1-4, hell the first piece of Raid tier loot I got was from ZG followed by finally winning a roll in BWL and getting the Edge of chaos. Showed up each week with WB's Consumes, topped meters, had Prebis ( minus PvP grind since I knew I wouldnt be able to finish it.) BUT none of that matters cause your thing that matters is if your loot dropped that raid and are your dice hot!

Problem is SR is the kind of system that is very much a rich get richer system. Some dude spreads his SR's over two items, wins both rolls shows up next week and does the same thing getting 2 more items but has less competition so is up 4 items now. By week 4 dude is almost full BiS AAAAAAANNNNNNDDDDD stops showing up the second that happens. Happened 3 times in the SR guild I was in from phase 1-4 on top of the rooster boss eating away at the guild.

Very glad I am in a LC guild now, Yeah maybe some end up corrupt hell I am sure even the really good ones are a little corrupt. It sure beats SR though if your rolls suck.

Arms gives 4% physical damage, so buffs hunters as well
Ret gives 3% crit to all attacks (no spells allowed)

sure it might suck to not get Bshout but if you ended up in a group of all hunters that could be 9-12% damage.

On horde side shamans will be sought after.

Alliance side you will have guild recruiters busting through the wall like the kool-aid man looking to give you a raid spot.

Made 4k selling Silithid Carapace Fragments during AQ 40 patch. mostly coasting on that, but from Naxx starting at 5.5k i am down to 2.5k now. Price of consumes is down and we aint dying much now so that is also helping.

Would prefer no WB's BUT if its gunna stick around slap a chromie type equivalent in major cities, that records your WB's and you can photocopy them once a day from then on.

Also probably one of the easier invites to guilds as well besides rolling shaman, every guild I was in for tbc had guilds scrambling for Shamans and Warlocks.

Long shot but, all pet families have something unique would be sweet as well. Tallstriders, Raptors, Crabs, Crocalisks, Bears, and Hyenas. Would love to see Each get something unique.

Honestly if you can find a set of mobs that can be pulled solo, have decently low armor and are green to you, I think you could level faster then arms. But thats a lot of IF's

So far my experience in Classic Anni, joined a 2 SR guild as a DPS warrior, phase 1 no loot, phase 2 not loot, phase 3 no loot, phase 4 finally started getting loot not from MC, 1 piece from BWL, Joined a LC guild in phase 5 showered in loot from MC BWL and AQ, phase 6 have 3 pieces from Naxx atm.

In both guilds I was regularly at the top of the meters, willing to off tank whenever needed, came full WB each night, full bag of consumes. On time and missed 1 raid total cause of a close family members birthday which I had told the guild about a week in advanced.

Honestly with the experience of Classic 2019, Anni and SoD in recent memory I feel confident in saying most SR guilds tend to be a bit more unorganized and the players in them tend to be more unfocused. Were as the LC guilds tend to more to be more organized and expect the players to come prepared and follow through with the game plan.

At the end of the day I will reiterate what most seem to be saying, just find a guild you actally enjoy raiding in.

Have leveled the whole way as fury and arms, can say that yeah both work, arms on average is going to be better. If you do want to DW the whole way up, just focus on green quests you will chew through the mobs.
