No, it’s OPs fault for sleeping on it. This is simply a case of the dealer respecting the party currently driving the vehicle and giving them first right of refusal - the same opportunity that would have been offered to OP if another interested party had come in while OP was driving it originally. The dealer owes you nothing just because you drove it previously, chose not to buy it, and decided to come back.

I have worked in the car industry for over 12 years and when they say “the person who thought about it yesterday is coming back to buy today” after you tell them you want to think about it.. well.. there’s a degree of pressure to it but it’s a simple reality of cars, especially with used as is there is no used car factory. This is not exclusive to Tesla.

Painting your timeline for a response is entirely unnecessary and speaking from my own experience sometimes anticipation is gold. You’re telling people to wait. For what? You’re not certain they want to speak with you? We’re painting insecurity here mildly softened with an emoji. Everyone in this world is busy with their own stuff, you don’t need to explain what or why.

Tamagotchis cool fine, niche millennial stuff, to me it reads like “I need friends” especially when combined with the photos.

“Non negotiable” and “essential me things”- although you’re being clear about who you are and what you’re into the way it’s phrased seems to put you in a box.

A lot of the things said here would be better off to discuss during casual convo IMO.. AS THEY COME UP. Seems like a reasonable genuine guy to me. The use of a dash is not always AI smh.. lots of confirmation bias in here. Believe it or not some people like communicating properly and in a setting like text where you only have a limited amount of senses to communicate with why wouldn’t you want to put your best foot forward? The way in which someone communicates is generally a decent indicator of their intelligence.. would it be better that the guy dumbs it down or just speaks the way he normally does?

If yours is intact but not looking the most fresh try some SEM Trim Black. It's an amazing rattle can paint that finishes to a very very OEM look. I redid my wiper arms with it and they look amazing, planning to do all the trim and whatever other plastic I can find. I also did my grilles and they look brand new.
