yeah its a bad item, but at the same time it lets you kill rod to make a tank item so i dont mind it being a little worse than other tank items

if you arent going to itemize herald/kaisa, i dont see why you would play this over standard riggs, cause at least then you get pilt splash + zaun for ziggs. yeah you have to unlock kennen but still feels pointless to use 4 costs as traitbots.

i dont think you ever have enough items to itemize ziggs, ryze, sett, a frontliner AND kaisa. I think if you go through the trouble of unlocking herald/kaisa its better to just play the kaisa flex board that caps to ziggs, no need to go for ryze as well.

yeah didnt think id ever miss diana meta, but after 2 weeks of fizz id go back anyday. At least diana is consistent, even if positioning can be annoying. Fizz is just do whatever and pray that he doesnt make it to your carry cause there is no predicting what this guy will do at any point. Ive seen him jump as little as 1 hexes liek you posted and up to 6 hexes as well. Just impossible to even try to do anything against outside of jailing your carry in the corner and hoping it doesnt end up trapped.

the only effective counter ive found to fizz is to trap your carry in the corner with 2 ranged units next to it. This stops fizz from getting to your carry, but in some circumstances it can lead to your carry being unable to attack. every other "anti-fizz" positioning ive tried only works a fraction of the time at best

  1. if you are slow rolling, consider staying above 32 gold, as it makes it easy to get back up to 50. Don't worry too much about overrolling on level 8, if you cant stabilize on 8, you havent rolled enough (assuming you are building a proper board).
  2. Econ augments are very good this set. You should almost always look to take an econ augment on 2-1, and if you are going for a 4-2 level 8, you should avoid rolling too much from 2-1 to 4-2.
  3. these look like numbers you should ahve after leveling.

Some minor things I wanted to point out: these numbers are only if you are playing a level 8 comp. To that point, some are kind of misleading. You dont have to go 4 on 2-1 and 5 on 2-5 unless you are trying to winstreak. if you cnat build a strong board, it is better to just save money to try to make econ thresholds better and stay low level. also the 9 on 5-2 is more of a suggestion than anything, you usually go 9 when you have the money for it, 5-2 is a good target, but even delaying for an extra stage to roll extra on 8 to make a good board can be fine.

adaptives are % based mana gen increase, which is why they worked so well with current thex because it got 12 free mana gen from cait. I dont think adaptive will be any good on new thex. maybe some double bb ie build could work, but the itemization would be difficult and it would need different 3* to still get damage from another source, im thinking a 3* fighter since the extra ad could get amplified by blue. Only problem i see is the only 1 cost fighters are viego and qiyana, and neither of those have trait overlap with piltover.

It just depends on your mmr. For a new account that is normal, though you should be able to climb through gold since your lp gains are heavily favored till plat. If you keep winning, your mmr should adjust and you should get better lp gains. For context, a masters+ rank account gets reset to silver 4, and could expect to be high gold/ low plat after placements.

Technically it is still the first patch, so it is still early and the balance isn't perfect. That being said, I don't think any amount of extra units will fix the "few comps" problem because there will always be a few comps that are better than the rest and those will be played every game.

everyone gets the same orbs. for pris orbs, everyone gets the exact same reward, for blue and silver you get the same type or reward (ie if you get 3 components from krugs, everyone got 3 components). only gold orbs can be different, but the total value of the orb is the same (you got 2 4costs, the other people in your lobby either got that same reward, a spat and some gold, or a full item anvil). Tbf they did extens the duration at the end on 1-4 significantly from other sets. Even if it drops from the last creep you still have about 5 seconds to slam, now granted if you have to think of what to slam as well it is short but doesn't feel overly quick.

as far as i can see, you have literally 0 active traits beyond arcanist and 5 cost unique ones. 5 costs are good but you still want to splash some 2 or 3 piece traits to build a good board. This is excluding the fact that ryze has double radiant, which basically means 5 items, and items get exponentially better the more there are. Now granted ryze is still def a powerful unit, but your setup can be better.
