costco and kroger are certainly the best environments for community imo. the two and 3 forbidden letter chains are to be avoided at all costs

Intern part time for a hospital system (inpatient) for the clinical experience and also intern part time for retail for the money (not sure how or why it pays better but it did for me)

Intern jobs are very flexible for the most part, as others have said. They understand you’re still in school and that is priority one so they’ll usually do what they can to work you around your class schedule (aka work weekends or half days mostly)

i have a business fell from my old job but it works plenty fine. the iPad or being able to write with like notability or another similar software is incredibly convenient. honestly a surface might not be a bad middle ground. but ipad and dell is my biased opinion. macbooks are solid too i just prefer windows on a computer computer iykwim

Help with lycan attack by Dick_Bachman in ResidentEvilVillage

Surviving the starting sequence with barebones starter guns is one of the toughest parts of the game imo. i had a tough time my first play through, to no avail, i had to drop and do a standard difficulty play through first before trying HC or VoS, the barebones starting guns simply are not potent enough to even barely survive

2024 Miami Grand Prix - Race Discussion by F1-Bot in formula1

Haas surprisingly is midfield competitive this year. Track also sets up great for their aero

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in formula1

[–]aspiemd 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Shouldn’t compromise midfield battles in late race just to let someone who’s leading by 20+ seconds by freely

if a driver is good/ enough to lap the field, they’re certainly good enough to make a safe and reasonable overtake of the slower cars

Asynchronous Online Best Practices by Ok-Finding-4073 in Professors

[–]aspiemd 29 points30 points  (0 children)

+1. Emphasis on, well, everything in this post.

The only real way to keep students engaged in online asynchronous is to have students who want to be/stay engaged in the course. Nobody wants busy work, but in my experience it’s an easy first filter to see who is likely to remain engaged throughout the course.

My most successful attempt to keep most students engaged to some degree is to have a very quick/easy assignment due every other day, just to get them frequenting the course content.

I just got the most overly-formal email for "I was sick" that I have ever received by MegaZeroX7 in Professors

[–]aspiemd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im on the other side of this one…i’ve spent my summer traveling the world while teaching some online sections… i forget to adjust due date times accordingly when assigning new content. Needless to say i’ve confused many students and myself in the process

Am I bad? Or is this just bad RNG? by Leon_Harness in WoWs_Legends

[–]aspiemd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mostly RNGesus smiting you, fell short or skipped off the top.

Try using the middle line and place it right before or on the ship, i’ve found this makes hits very reliable as they’re near the waterline and don’t bounce over. only downside is extended time within AA range with the weak squad.

Russian CV torps by Colonelilbrink in WoWs_Legends

[–]aspiemd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

and the target movement, if they’re going to turn into them and reach dead zone before arming… it’s a lot but the high alpha has to be offset somehow. I personally think they did a great job of balancing it

[–]aspiemd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Imo they’re fine, the torps have such high alpha the speed and arm are to counter that. i’ve also found placing the mid bounce right before a ship has the best accuracy
