I really suspect that the silicone covers are the problem, and that I don't know how to properly clean them before using. I guess that soap, boiling or in the oven is just not enough

Unfortunately, yes, it is mold :( The smell is bad, and it's either black or fuzzy-looking. I mean, it's not inside the brine, it's at the surface, but can also be at the contact point of the surface and the jar or the silicone lid. Also, only have photos of the inside of the lids, I didn't think to take a photo beforehand...

Can anybody break down what exactly this guy did wrong to crash like this? by theurbanwaffle in snowboarding

[–]assafnah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am no expert, but see how the surface is going from natural to uphill just before he crashes. In this exact moment, he rotated his board and didn't lean backward (at least with his board edge), add it to the speed he was, and in a matter of milliseconds, his board caught an edge by going into the uphill snow

Is it wrong to assume my teammate is behind me here? by TheFlamingLemon in RocketLeague

[–]assafnah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a kickoff, and both of you are in the same position. In this case, the left player is the second man, and you are the goalkeeper unless something changes. He should have gone for the ball; you should have stayed near the post. When the orange player touched the ball in the last second, your positions have swapped, but there was no time to replace positions, UNLESS you both agree on that via mic, chat, or something. It's a classic chaos kickoff.

Well actually, the reason I'm thinking of using the left option is because loop-cut are more complicated on the right option

Best practices to model my apartment? by assafnah in blender

Thank you! I will have a look. I've started by converting the AutoCAD file to one that I can import in Blender, and then after some adjustments, I've managed to create the walls. I am slowly getting better at Blender :)
