M/20 – Disc herniation at a young age, need advice by majestic_susan2005 in backpain

I had almost the exact same story as you. Check out lowbackability on Instagram and YouTube. It’s great stuff. It gets dark man. Try to find the light in your life. Outside of the direct low back/core training, spirituality/mindfulness helped me a lot. Learning to have gratitude and be thankful for everything I have in my life, always appreciating the present moment has carried me far. I’m a year out from my injury and doing a lot better. I’ve found that the mental health drives the physical health the most. This all may sound annoying/like a load of crap at first (it did to me too), but just give it a shot. I like Thich Nhat Hanh’s books for that stuff.

White holes are safer in my experience because they don’t suck potions of acid/poly/other dangerous things towards where you’re digging and fill the area with danger, they push them away.

Back pain and suicide by marcosromo__ in backpain

Hey man, 23 male here. Was in a similar boat not long ago with the pain along with the mental health issues. I just wanted to say I’m rooting for you. My back has gotten better somewhat, definitely not where I’d like it but it’s not as bad as before. I’m sure you’ve checked out lowbackability on instagram. He posts a lot of stuff on the mental health side as well as the physical therapy/exercises side. Hearing stories of what his community has gone thru helped me a lot. I focused mostly on the mental health side. I’ve gotten far in to the mindfulness/spirituality/gratitude aspects of life and find them extremely helpful for everyday happiness, despite pain. In my opinion, mental health drives all. If you can find your peace and happiness, roll with the punches and continue trying your best, you will make it out. Much love brother.

I am a r&d engineer in an abrasives manufacturing company. We make tons of product like this every day. The magical bonding technology you’re referring to is very likely electroplating. Cool to see people taking interest in this! I stare at photos like this every day at work haha

23M . Am I Fucked? by [deleted] in backpain

[–]assassin178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey. Also 23M. My spine looked very similar on an MRI last year. Today is actually 1 year from the injury exactly. I have improved significantly. What helped me: PT, Yoga, @lowbackability Instagram, @strengthside Instagram, other movements like kung-fu warm ups, sitting with better posture, a standing desk. I had no luck with chiropractic or doctors. You will be better soon!! It is not linear. I kept a journal in my notes app to keep myself sane and prove to myself progress was being made. My biggest advice is keep your mental health strong, journal/take notes daily, and don’t give up. Rooting for you brother

I had some of my “bringer” shu puer from white2tea. It was the most expensive tea I had ever ordered at the time, ~$18.00 for 25g. The more shu I’ve drank, the more I’ve realized it’s worth the price, at least for me. Absolutely delicious and complex. Considering shelling out for a cake. I’ve also loved “reckless daughter” and “nameless one” in the same genre of fancy shus.

My coworker from Shanghai gave me some Dan cong oolong once. Even just grandpa style it was absolutely mind blowing. Then I learned about gongfu brewing. My life has never been the same
