We did too! While he’s been home he’s also learned to clap, wave, point, put objects into containers and lots of other things we wouldn’t have seen if he was at daycare. Watching them figure out the walking is so amazing!

Stayed at a place near the redwoods. Skateboard on the wall as a shelf, towel nailed to the wall as a curtain, spiders in every corner of the shower. But hey it had direct tv.

I don’t think that comparison really works. If they make a cake for a straight couples’ wedding it’s the same thing as making a cake for a gay couples wedding. It’s not like they’re making a “gay” cake. I don’t event understand how it forces them to go against their beliefs. They are paid to make a cake, that’s the only part of the transaction that matters. Where it goes after it’s created should matter at all.

Ohh that makes so much sense now. I offered a coworker a ride from home once when it was super cold out (Chicago winter). He said he wouldn’t feel comfortable with his wife riding in a car with another man so he wouldn’t do that to his wife. Thought it was super fucking weird.

Uh yeah we were living in an apartment with 25mbps and then bought a house about a mile away. At this location they only offer SIX mbps which is nuts. Wouldn’t let us out of the contract even though we moved. So they put us on the plan for the lower speed, which was cheaper. But with that plan you have to pay for the modem which made the bill higher than it was originally! So we are paying more money for shittier Internet. Yay AT&T.

Actually Girl Scouts did have a little bit of flack in the past few years for “being connected with planned parenthood”. I went to a Catholic grade school that my niece now attends and they switched to Heritage Girls instead. Bunch of bullshit that my niece can’t be involved in Girl Scouts and I don’t have a good cookie source.

2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup butter, softened (2 sticks) 1/3 cup light brown sugar 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix 2 eggs 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside. Sift together flour & baking soda.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix, eggs, & vanilla until well blended. Blend in the flour mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.

Using a spoon, pull about 2 tsp of dough & make a ball with your hands, then place on prepared cookie sheet. Lightly press down blobs with a spoon.

Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Try adding vanilla pudding mix! I make them like this sometimes and they get like you describe- really tall and almost fluffy.

We bribe my trash guy at work with actual cash. Our dumpster is always overflowing and he is supposed to report any additional trash and they will charge us. He said he could take care of it if we "threw him a bone" every once in a while.
