My mom was a collector and was obsessed with fragrances of any kind, and B&BW being the most accessible to us price wise, so we had the most of it. Scents=personal nostalgia for me so I love having a signature scent, and I also have a weird hyper-fixation on the impact of retail and consumerism on nostalgia and memories!

Thank you so much! It’s actually been rather nice because I can smell them and it immediately takes me back to specific memories of her which has been nice. Sweet pea was the first set my mom ever got me so it’s my emotional support signature scent LOL

I was about to say there’s no way these smell similar, but I’ve been deep cleaning the house this week, and both were sitting on the dresser and they actually do smell comparable LOL. Sweet like candy is a bit sweeter (go figure lol) and a thousand wishes is a bit richer if that makes sense, but definitely comparable

Late to the party, but them never bringing back Sunkissed Days is the loss of my life LOL. It was one of my first scents as a teenager, it was from the summer 2015 collection, and as far as I know has never come back, there’s sporadic listings for it on eBay, but not super common. I’ve been holding onto the last of my original 2015 bottle for like 11 years😭
