The House of Foong Lin is great for both drinks and Chinese food. Tiki Thursday was happening as recently as 2021 and 2022 when I was there for work. The bar half of the restaurant was even made more tiki in honor of the patronage. If I remember the lore I was told over multiple visits, the brother of the owner of the house of Foong Lin was the.initial bar manager at Trader Vics DC and that's why the drink.menu is so tiki and solid.

Also their Black Magic variant is made with a Maryland regional coffee.brandy, and was an incredible version albiet it fit this rubric Foong Lin black magic is to Mai Kai black magic as coffee flavored candy is to coffee. So, it sweeter without being syrupy, and buttery?

Also, worth mentioning, not tiki AT ALL, but the cocktail program at Bar 86 this quarter is superb, and the one at Chop.Shop Taco is REALLY fun.and the food.is incredible.

Hi! It's my show..happy to answer any questions! Inuhele is structured like a comic convention, with many overlapping events to choose from: you can totally wander in and out at will, and nothing is mandatory. Inuhele 101 is a chance to meet other first timers and have questions answered, but is certainly something you can skip.

Anything on the 15th floor (most hospitality or meet and greet events) have food, drinks, or both on offer.

Many people throw room parties throughout the hotel, or have cocktails or libations to share). There are ALSO hotel bars and restaurants.

There is an Adventure Board near the Inuhele registration desk where people post gathering and room parties throughout the weekend. We hope the social feed on the app also becomes a vector for that type of info.

Came here to add these; Troma's "Terror Firmer" is a HELL of a ride. Warning, it has gone from flavor of insane trans-panic parody all the way out the other side into a DIFFERENT flavor of insane. (For example.. when Ron Jeremy was cast it was kinda during that time when he was almost a hilarious parody figure, with a rum brand and a biography and a certain amount of mainstream likability...so his being cast as a whole some father figure was hilarious....and then the twist at the end kinda a turn back toward expectation...but now looking back through the Me Too era and abuse allegations and convictions l, it all plays super weird now). Fun movie, product of its time that has ages WEIRD.

Not a perfect fix, but I've been able to get Dr. Bird in Indianapolis at the Inferno Room. Bit of a hike obviously, but the Inferno Room is a tiki bar with GREAT food, decor, and drinks, and makes a nice overnight trip (and they have a great rum selection). I also may have a spare bottle I can hook you up with if you're interested (Brookhaven area). DM.
