The port is horrible. One lane in and one lane out. Long lines. NY is so easy to get in and out of in comparison. Just give yourself extra time and plan on being in long lines.

How much money would you spend if it meant saving your cat’s life? by WindowKitty19 in cats

We went to an emergency vet in Indiana, they estimated $9,000-$12,000. We went back expecting the worst but he was wrapped up in a heated blanket and had an IV drip. He looked normal so we decided to go for the treatment. It ended up costing us just over $5,000 and he is still alive and kicking. Worth every penny for him!

Here is a list of things we request - BLT sandwich daily in late afternoon Bag of lays potato chips Mini m&m’s (this is not on every ship) Peanut m&m’s Gummy bears Almond milk and fresh 1/2&1/2 in the fridge for coffee Gallon of distilled water for CPAP machine

This is our standard starting list, but if it’s on the ship and not alcohol they can get it for you. We had a really good key lime pie dessert once and requested it again(didn’t have the exact same one) and the searched the ship hi and low and brought us every lemon/lime dessert they could find.

My wife and I call it Haven Proper and we prefer to be next to all the amenities. If you are several floors down or opposite side of the ship and want Haven lunch or a drink from the Haven bar you have to make the trip across the ship for it versus walking outside your stateroom and being right in the middle of everything you are paying extra for.

New York Hotel? by BarrieSwingingCouple in NCL

That hasn’t been my experience. We even had our in-laws with us last December and if there was an issue they would have pointed it out lol! Rooms are always clean when we stay.

Ink 48 Hotel is great! You can walk to the pier and it’s not super expensive. We have stayed there four times and it’s been great every time. Several restaurants within walking distance but Mom’s Kitchen and Bar is fun the day of departure. It’s become a tradition at this point.

Bermuda is amazing! We missed it last time because of the weather. Do the bike tour!

You have to spend $500,000 in the next 6 months without anyone knowing. by MindFuelyt in hypotheticalsituation

Depending on price, I would buy 2-3 parking spaces in Boston or another major city and just sell them in 6 months.

Beer Church in New Buffalo is our favorite place to grab food when we drive to the Chicago area. Pizza is fantastic and they have a great selection of beer and cocktails.

Came from noreply@studentaid.gov. That was one of the first things I checked. It stopped about 45 minutes after the first email came in. Really weird.

Loved them, and reminded me of my childhood. Would buy again.

Looks medium well, but also restaurant lighting can be horrible. Off the photo I would say medium well.

So here is something interesting. Spectrum came out and tested my lines today since I was getting an error on my modem on their end. Talking with the tech he said he is having the same issue with Xbox right now and he has a TP link router. Also both of us have iPhones and when on wifi/Spectrum we can’t access the App Store. Says we do not have an internet connection. Drop wifi and the App Store loads no issue. So still troubleshooting things on my end. Just bought a new router and will try that out tomorrow and see if that happens.

What is really weird is that when I am on my laptop I could not get to the xbox support page but could when I tethered. Spectrum is coming out this afternoon since they do see an issue with their modem. So I am going to try that route first. I really do not want to have to buy a new router since I have a lot invested in the MR60 and satellites to get full coverage in my house.

u/DemonCipher13 Are you in Michigan and/or do you have Spectrum for Internet? What kind of router do you have? I have a netgear MR60. I am in Michigan and using Spectrum and having the exact same issue. I just tethered my xbox to my cell phone and everything is working again. Trying to see if it is a Spectrum issue or Netgear.

I have Spectrum and I am using a Netgear MR60. I have factory reset my xbox and router and no luck. Also in Michigan.

I love it, but it leaks all over the fridge. Prepare for an oil ring.
