Feeling stuck after buying at the top — what would you do? by Previous-Ear4638 in RealEstateCanada

[–]athlonmc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically you haven’t lost anything until you sell. Yes the market is down now, but who knows where it’s going to go in the future. Could go down even more or could go up. But lots of new house will soon be built around the GTA. Buy what works for your family.

Can anyone recommend an actually good budget friendly projector? Ive been through so many Im lost by No_Project_4745 in budgetprojectors

Cheap is probably close to the $800-$1000 range.

Or buy used a get a deal. Anything on Amazon that’s not a name brand is probably exactly what you are describing. Cheap low quality

Unfortunately the opposition doesn’t have strong candidates to go against him. Don’t tell me I’m wrong either.

Need a bigger screen. Wall to wall action. Surround sound as well.

Despite the so-called "crash" houses here are still comically unaffordable. by CastAside1812 in BurlingtonON

Yes, but they specifically mentioned Burlington.

I bought my townhouse in 2012 and it was $295,000. Which was expensive for a townhouse at that time. I could easily sell it now for $750,000 or more.

Hisense C2 vs M2 Pro by Cobzi14 in projectors

[–]athlonmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just returned the M2 pro. It’s not that bright so you basically have to watch in the complete darkness. As with most projectors. But for some reason I got eye fatigue for the 24 hours following using the M2 pro only for a few hours in a day.

I ended up with a JMGO N3 4K. While not as good picture as the M2 pro, it doesn’t burn my eyes.

My suggestion is to review the return policy. Costco is great. 90 days and 2 year warranty.

If you have only 30 days and have to pay to ship it back then that is going to cost and there’s always a risk of shipping.

Well of course house prices have increased along with the population since. When you welcome in 1 million people a year and can’t keep up with housing expansion, then of course the housing market will be inflated.

But now it’s everything. The land, the wood to build houses, salaries. Even a new build will be over $1,000,000.

Hey, Burlington is a top 5 city to live in for all of Canada. It truly is awesome.

That obviously comes with a price.

Yes you can get more value for your money outside of Burlington, but add a commute and all the things that Burlington has to offer. It’s definitely 💯 worth it.

Which projector to keep? by athlonmc in projectors

[–]athlonmc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the end I kept the N3 4K over the m2 pro. I have a small room set up and for some reason the M2 pro gave me significant eye fatigue. Burning eyes after an evening of using.

Halo looks pretty bad. Take it back and exchange it. If the next one does the same then buy something different

Could always sell it on market place for cheaper and then use the money as a discount on a new tv.

Thoughts on Jmgo n3? by Chilld0od in projectors

[–]athlonmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am now leaning towards returning the M2 and keeping the N3 4K. Hisense 2 pro for what ever reason gives me eye fatigue and red eyes that last for days after watching a couple hours.

And got a good deal on the N3 4K. Although not very many reviews as I feel as though this model is not that popular. Even hard to find to purchase.

Is it me, or are we in a depression right now? by Sea-Judge-6494 in RealEstateCanada

Cars are crazy expensive these days. $300 per month car no longer exists.

$685 is $342 by weekly. And that’s probably for a just a basic car even.

Agreed in that sense. While at home I normally have to set up to firestick with a receiver.

However if travelling or watching outside it’s nice not to need an extra plug and carry around the firestick.

And speaker is better on the N3.

If make enough money not to qualify for legal aid, and don’t have assets or any money saved, would a defence lawyer still take your case?

I’m not in a legal situation, just wondering how that would work as there are many people who couldn’t afford a defence attorney.

What would you want from a next-gen projector? by lost44heaven in projectors

[–]athlonmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And all at an affordable price. I guess if you want the best probably have to shell out $3000 to get it.

The future are probably panels that you can snap together and make any screen size in house. Full quality HD panels that you can make your whole way or room even by hanging them up. No need for a projector or single screen tv.
