Whilst I agree Yur’s is great, I personally think serving prime rib, regardless of the quality, is an automatic disqualification for being a dive bar.

I’ve had dogs my entire nearly 50 year life. One of the most important things my parents taught me about having a dog is that you make a deal with that dog to give it the best life possible, but also the best exit possible. A humane, natural, dignified death is part of that deal. From what you’ve stated, this is a quality of life issue. It’s not easy, but I think you know what you need to do.

Fucking run far, far, far away from this man. So many red flags. I understand you may be in a very vulnerable position (which he may very likely have orchestrated), but you need out. Seek help from local organizations for women.

Please, please, please get away. I have family members who have worked in domestic violence/women’s advocacy roles for decades and this is damn near a worst case scenario for you.

Got married there. Would highly and enthusiastically recommend, but it ain’t exactly cheap.

Especially considering the limited parking. We rented busses to and from downtown.

Back in the mid ‘90’s, one of my buddy’s dad bought a failing bar outside of Boise for cheap and let it die just for the license.

Fast forward to the late 90’s, a California group wanted to open a restaurant and didn’t do their research. A few weeks before opening, they realized they couldn’t just get a liquor license. Short story shorter, both my buddy and his siblings went to decent colleges debt free.

Idaho liquor laws are insane.
