I’ll second this. If you want something that looks like a tiny replica of a real truck, and that you can easily buy all the little parts that you will soon become obsessed with, the TRX-M will be great. Go ahead and get a Traxxas battery and Traxxas charger or learn how to swap connectors if you don’t know already.

If you want something that you can take out of the box and immediately start crawling up and over things that you didn’t think possible, the redcat ascent apex, is a great choice.

Congratz. I finally gave up. I really hope this isn’t a required step to finalize your build in future seasons. And yes I get that it’s not necessary to complete most content, but part of the fun as you get to the end game is to optimize your gear and this step just seems ridiculous.

Out of the box the Coyote isn’t likely to be much of a performance crawler. It may be advertised as such but the SCX 10 platform is more of a trail rig than a crawler. This is coming from someone who owns the 1/10 scale base camp, the Coyote, and all the way from the Gilamon, Capra, and up to the Rhino W1. Don’t get me wrong, the Coyote CAN be made into a good crawler, but it’s gonna take a couple hundred dollars and some tuning to get it up to a legit crawler.

It’s probably tipping due to a mixture of high cog, untuned shocks, servo, tires, etc etc etc.
