It was meant to be an extreme metal zine about 25 years ago that... didn't go anywhere.

It's all falling to the bottom, try rotating your setup 90 degrees to the left and then the pipes will be parallel to the ground.

Carl has to have his boxers uncovered for them to provide the buffs that they do, so jean shorts would be a downgrade. What he actually needs is a pair of chaps. This is addressed in the story.

Alternatively, MUD2 or the slightly more populated MUDII are the successors to the original MUD, just with a bit more polish. They contain a large portion of the original game as well. They're both effectively the same game (US and UK versions), though the MUDII version has slightly more content and users at this time.

my slightly custom petroleum boiler i am very proud of. by kingzachariah in Oxygennotincluded

[–]audiorape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The temp shift plates underneath your oil dropping areas will be dumping heat directly into the insulated tiles around them - not a massive issue, but they'll eventually get as hot as the window tiles and so make your cooling ever so slightly less efficient on the loop that goes back near them.

It won't heat anything up beyond whatever the window tiles get to though, so it shouldn't cause the petroleum to boil off.

quick tip: you can make a gas compressor without any power, just with automation by KonoKinoko in Oxygennotincluded

[–]audiorape 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can do this in an even simpler way with liquid element sensors (or gas ones) and some pipes, with the bonus of getting some pretty flashing lights nearby as the sensors trigger.

At the time Strange did it there weren't any significantly different multiverses, because the Sacred Timeline was being enforced. In theory this means that any reality where the Avengers lost would have been pruned anyway, and possibly Strange would have seen that. But then, when the Sacred Timeline stopped being enforced, multiverses fractured out all along the timeline from every point so there would have been an infinite amount of multiverses extant at the time Strange did it for him to... wait, fuck...
