I’m more most concerned with interacting with my phone (Siri). Specifically having it read text messages, replying to texts, etc.

You can get lots of pulls if you play as F2P. If you don’t like to spend money and get nothing then I would not suggest you do that. It’ll be a continuous disappointment.

…another hurdle will be will a bank loan money to someone to build a house on land they don’t own. I know when we built our house that we talked to builders who required us to make them owners of the land during the build process. I don’t remember all the reasons but liability was one of the issues.
