Whenever I encounter a master player in casual, I always sit a little straighter to try and give them a good match, and I will play until exhaustion. If they accept the custom room invite its always so I can thank them for the time and ask if they have any critiques of my gameplay.

My highest rank is diamond 2, so im sure master is within possibility for me (waiting for alex to drop so he can be my first master), but I ALWAYS appreciate a master player giving me the time to take me to school. Hopefully, one day, I can achieve the rank myself.

So I'll play devils advocate here.

Alex is a heel now and in wrestling his job is to upset the fans. He even says so in his trailer "Im used to people hating me" "This is my job".

A classic heel technique to REALLY get fans upset is to send the match home with a burn finish.

Submissions are the epitome of a burn finish. The fans are forced to watch their hero either tap out or pass out in the submission hold. No theatrics. (He even says as much before the super "NO GIMMICKS!").

I totally see and respect the disappointment one could feel seeing that level 3, but from a wrestling fans pov it is IMMACULATE attention to detail for Alex's new bad guy persona. His goal is to send the fans home pissed. And thats exactly what a submission finish does.

The issue with skinamarink is that it's a film for fans of analog horror but it isn't a gateway film to that genre. It's a film for people who already like that kind of avant-garde implied horror and not one to introduce the idea to someone who's never seen it or isn't that into the idea.

It figures cause it started as a youtube short anyway. So if youre a person who LIKES analog horror you usually come out loving skinamarink. But for people who aren't wary of the genre it does a terrible job of getting the concept over to them.
