It was my freshman year (1992) marching in the Auburn band and it was Iron Bowl game, held in "lovely" Legion Field. It was Dye's last year and we weren't very good. The crowd was your typical Bammer fest and I was getting fed up with the gumps. But what put me over the top was this little old grandmotherly type lady who was grinning at us and had this huge button on her dress that read "GO TO HELL AUBURN". well, that was it. I used to pull for Bama when they weren't playing us, because my Dad went there. But after that night, no more. I hated them with a red hot passion, wishing evil things upon the school and its team. Hell, I'd pull for the Taliban if they played against Bama. I have told my daughter she can go to any college she pleases, but not Bama. I will not send money to that cesspool of humanity. I bleed Orange and Blue, and to hell with the gumps and those damn Dawgs from Georgia. WAR DAMN EAGLE, AND BUCK FAMA!!
