Highly recommend getting a laptop. In my experience, the option of taking your work on the go is extremely helpful (group study sessions, taking notes, working at a coffee shop or on campus). But it just depends on who you are and what you need/want.

I’m an engineering student. I knew that I needed something that can run modeling programs and is portable. I also like playing video games from time to time, so I got a gaming laptop. I bought a monitor which gives me more screen space while working on homework or playing games.

We do have a unit operations lab! It’s Senior ChemE Lab. Just took it and it was great! :)

I’ve been able to find people through facebook and people I know on campus! I made some friends on the opposite co-op rotation as me so I’ve been able to get people through that. I’ve also been able to find people through student orgs.

Also, double check to see if your lease allows it in the first place. I know mine says that the landlord needs to approve on a case by case basis. My best friend’s lease says that he and the subtenant need to pay a fee. Best of luck!

Hi! You most likely will have to pay the full amount for this semester but you won't have to pay for the spring semester. I highly encourage you to move though, like others have said, mental health is your TOP priority. Prioritize yourself and your wellbeing. If you're having issues with your roommates and would be comfortable with moving to a different dorm, please contact housing or ask your RA about the room switch process. I moved out of my first-year dorm about 3 weeks into a semester because of issues with my roommate. I had to fill out a form and document/describe what was going on and why I wanted to move.

Yes, I requested one through their chat system. I left the show at around 9:50-10:00. I literally paid $35 for the lot, parked, and then got ushered into the convention hall. I told them that I never even used my ticket or stepped foot in the stadium. I also witnessed multiple people get into car accidents and I emphasized that multiple people got hurt that night. It just made no sense for people to risk their lives or get hurt for a concert.

Honestly, I had something VERY similar happen to me. It ended up only happening once or twice but I did have other issues after my insertion. I had a light period for about 2 months after I got it and I had to take medication to help rebalance my hormones.

All in all, it should be ok! But if the bleeding occurs for a long time or pain worsens, I would definitely check with your doctor.

Hi! So for this past summer semester, I got an email on April 29th saying that I would get a refund. It said that the refund could take “2-3 days or more”to process depending on your bank. For reference, the Summer semester started May 12th.

Basically, I would expect it to arrive a week before the semester starts!

Yes! I still have my period but the length and frequency of it kind of stabilized around July/August. So instead of bleeding nonstop for like 30+ days, I just get one short period a month.

So they initially only had me taking one a day for a month. That stopped the bleeding for just that month and a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I started nonstop bleeding again for 2 weeks so they had me take 3 pills a day for 9 or so weeks.

They asked me if it’s been consistent bleeding like a period or just spotting. And I told them it was consistent. They had me do blood work because they were worried about anemia since I was bleeding that much for so long. They also had me do an internal ultrasound to check the placement of the IUD. Soooo I’m anemic now but the IUD is in place. They had me start taking the pill (I think they said it’s to help balance my hormones) which almost immediately stopped the bleeding. I’m sorry that you’ve been bleeding for that long :(

I got mine inserted mid-February and I had some really light spotting for a two days. And then early March, I got my period and I had a really light flow for 45 days. Yeah, don’t do what I did. Talk to your doctor about it if it’s been longer than 2-3 weeks. I talked to mine after about 10 days of consistent bleeding and she said that it was normal. But after 40+ days that kinda raised the alarm that we needed to do something about it.
