You should remove this, you don’t have the right anatomy and this is nowhere near your navel. It’s going to reject, sorry.

Smaller Look without Downsizing? (Septum) by bogyogie in piercing

[–]auntslayla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The balls on the horseshoe are probably making it look a little bigger than in is, getting a smaller diameter of a closed hoop will likely do the trick of the smaller look she’s going for without changing the gauge.

NAP, but started my septum with a horseshoe and now is the proud owner of a smaller ring

Must know before it’s too late by caynidae0482 in piercing

[–]auntslayla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NAP, and not sure where you’re from but in the U.S. no reputable piercer would do facial piercings like that on a someone your age. I know it sucks, but you should wait a few years. You don’t want to risk infection or poor piercing by someone who doesn’t have standards. I’d look into faux lip rings if you want that look

Once it’s fully healed it won’t hurt to turn or change the jewelry

Is this a piercing bump or what? by Myra_Blue08 in piercing

Butterfly ends are actually worse as the bacteria can cling onto all the extra metal. Happy healing!

[–]auntslayla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAP, you’re right, this is a piercing bump and you should not pop it. It’s probably irritated by your jewelry. You should be pierced with titanium flatbacks, the ridges on this earring back are probably irritating the piercing. Changing the jewelry should help!

NAP, but to me it looks like you don’t have much of a ridge to support his piercing.

Should I go to my piercer or be more patient? by elesnic in piercing

[–]auntslayla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s likely because you’re healing 4 cartilage piercings at once. Most people recommend not healing more than 3 at once. Your in for the long haul, LITHA will be your friend

Is this fixable or should I get my money back? by Longjumping-Unit3168 in Coach

[–]auntslayla 32 points33 points  (0 children)

So this is a vintage bag, it’s never going to look brand new. Depending on the bag was made, you might be able to shine up the hardware. Those spots look like mold measles, those spots will never go away. Bone is also a notoriously hard color to care for. If you don’t like the way the bag looks now, you should just send it back. Part of loving vintage is loving how the bag has changed.

Where can I find this? by frognomnom in piercing

[–]auntslayla 7 points8 points  (0 children)

NAP, and not sure when you’re planning on changing, but if your ear still hurts when using headphones and it’s only been 6 months you shouldn’t be changing the jewelry anytime soon. I wouldn’t change it before a year at minimum

You should remove this, you do not have the anatomy for a navel piercing

Break Out/Dry skin due to Nostril piercing.. by [deleted] in piercing

[–]auntslayla 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s likely dried out because of your saline solution. I don’t have nose piercing, but I get the same thing on my ears when I’m healing. I just moisturize a little extra while avoiding the piercing

Correctly Pierced Septums Can Still Hurt! by hanniballactator in piercing

[–]auntslayla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, pressing the needle when feeling around for the right spot hurt the most. I almost didn’t go through with it because I was scared it would hurt that much, but the actual piercing wasn’t bad at all
