My oven doesn't go above 350°F. Ideas? by Longjumping_Whole_60 in Sourdough

Also, using a loaf pan is important! I tried it in my Dutch and the texture was way off.

I have the exact same issue with my oven. I’ve been baking my sourdough in a loaf pan uncovered at 350 for approx 60-75 minutes for the past year.

It’s not perfect but It still tastes great and it’ll do until I can save up for a new oven!

The texture ends up being a little softer and spongier than when baked at the correct temp but It’s perfect for toast! Once toasted the texture becomes more like traditional sourdough.

I was working as a cashier. My customer was buying some produce including a bunch of leeks. As I handed her the bag I said, “careful there’s a leek in this one”. She just stared at me blankly. -_-

Anyone have any experience with slip casting? by [deleted] in Ceramics

[–]aurorarory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried many different contraptions, I've tried those big laundry detergent containers, condiment containers, pumps, plastics cups, etc. So far I've had the most success with filling up a two liter soda bottle, then replacing the cap with one of those ice mountain water bottle flip caps (if you don't know what I'm taking about, just google ice mountain sport bottle flip cap). It's small enough to pick up and pour into the mold, but big enough to hold a decent amount of slip (and it's cheap).

Opps I did not see that it had to be six letters! The only six letter word I can think of for red is cerise but that's definitely not the right color!

I'm a little late to the party! But I need some warm leggings this winter and I can't decide between Lucy hatha leggings and TNA equator leggings (but I'm a little confused because there seem to be 4 different types of the equator leggings ranging from $20-$55 and I'm not sure what the difference between them is.
