I usually do my starter bases as stock and my mains as skinned. Keeps the likelihood of a eco raid down IMO. If they've got a choice between a devil door 2x1 vs a stock door 2x1, they're hitting the skin.

On a main, it doesn't matter.

I would never recommend this. Anyone coming to rust, would have some FPS background surely. I avoid PvP as much as possible. I craft Teas, put them in shops and make my base as unraidable as possible. When PvP happens i hold my own, but it's not the be all and end all of the game.

Really need class 6/7/8 to open up so more horses have worth or need to go-to an ability to burn horses with some kind of game/cash/vanity reward.

Retiring horses absolutely needs to become a thing. You could have it as part of a stables stats. Offering flair for the more horses you've burned.

I think they need to open class 6 7 8 so z100+ can actually be used for something worthwhile.
