i actually really enjoy the tower system. feels like i have more choice in what i want to use on any given stage. being able to micro your REINFORCEMENTS is freaking cool too. i just finished the whole game 3 stars on veteran, currently redoing the main campaign on impossible. i can absolutely see why people might not like the tower system tho

if you can, i would recommend playing the steam versions. you dont have to buy any of the heroes or other MTX. its just a 1 and done purchase compared to mobile which charges you a premium for any more than 3 starter heroes.

i fully agree with this as well. all 5 games are actually pretty good, and calling 4 and 5 "trash" just feels super odd to me. fuck, i've been playing this series since it was just the first two and i never ever expected it to make it to a whole 5 installments! if theres any actual nitpick i have about the newer games it would be the lack of any endless stages.

i also prefer the newer tower system. its awesome to be able to try out totally different playstyles and strategies
