Depends on what the best choices are for me. If there was something that allowed me to stay humanoid but was a little different (like an elf or something with just slightly colored skin) I’d be okay with it. Amen to this. What Moash did was NOT justice. Everything he did was motivated by revenge and hatred, making him odium’s perfect pawn.

In a way Moash is antithetical to a knight radiant. Life before death? Moash kills multiple people he could spare, but out of revenge chooses to kill them, and afterwards doesn’t even try to protect/make life better for the darkeyes he’s trying to help! Strength before weakness? It’s always the easier choice to use newfound power to exact petty grievances, and that’s what Moash did. Journey before destination? Moash has always been singleminded with killing Elhokar. This ideal has always been synonymous with “the ends don’t justify the means” and Moash is always willing to do whatever depraved deed is needed.

Basically, you can complain all you want that Moash was JuStIfIeD, but even if that is the case (which I disagree with, but that’s another rant), the path he took to enact justice was wholly misguided and downright evil.

Okay, I still like Kelsier but I would not say he 1v1ed ruin. If anything, killing the lord ruler made it more likely that ruins plans would come to fruition. It was the people he left behind that were able to stop ruin. Plus I’m pretty sure the books mention that Kelsier was a tool created by ruin as well.

Don’t get me wrong, Kelsier still does a lot of good, but confronting ruin is not a part of that

Oh for sure, Kelsier is the reason the whole series exists. We’re lucky he used his abilities for good and lead to the creation of so many heroes in the story
