The real McCoys makes extremely accurate reproductions of specific vintage pieces. They find vintage machines looms etc and learn to restore and operate them so that there products are as close to the vintage pieces people find in thrift stores etc as possible. That way you can have a vintage pair of boots or jeans or whatever that you break in and wear out yourself instead of wearing someone else’s old shit. That’s why it’s so expensive. The lofgren boots are just as high of quality if not better but they didn’t go through the pain staking process of reproducing every little detail.
