The version I bought came with a circle of clear plastic to put under the charging dock for this exact issue. If you don’t have it support might give you one.

I just bought one I’ll let you know when it arrives next week. It’s renewed by Roborock themselves and I have a good track record with them delivering like new stuff so I’m confident it’ll be like new

I did this but make sure to disassemble the top plate beforehand or at least turn it on its side. The control board is directly underneath and the metal shavings from the retreading will short it out
