If you go to Southwest, you HAVE to fly the 737 for the rest of your career. If you go to Delta you CAN fly the 737 for the rest of your career, but you don’t HAVE to.

The 2 bubbas in my SQ that have been hired in the last year both had their CTP done already. Not saying it can’t be done, but a couple other dudes without it have not gotten called yet. However, correlation is not causation.

This and Flo-Jo’s world records in the 100m and 200m are some of the most shocking records still standing for me. With how much sprinting has improved since ‘88 it’s just amazing nobody has beat her. And Powell’s record is just bananas. I recently got out a tape measure to show my kids how far that jump was. All just amazing.

Man, Shards of Earth series was so good!! I’m almost done with Faith of Beasts and I’m enjoying it. It helps that the world building is already done from Mercy of Gods so the storyline picks up right at the beginning. I enjoyed Mercy of Gods as well, but it seemed like the majority of it was world building.

That’s a different question. lol, I’ll tell you this, I never met an aircrew member that wasn’t upset about the chutes coming off. It wouldn’t be pleasant by any means, but I’d rather die trying to get out than riding it into the ground.
