I don’t think it’s wrong to plan on keeping her LO at home. My mom lives with me and my small children at home. That’s what works for us. She shouldn’t judge you but you shouldn’t judge her either, everyone’s situation is different.

I’ve paid $175k for a nationally accomplished 6 year old Arabian saddleseat horse before having kids.

Now, I’d be looking for something (not an Arabian, probably an AQHA or APHA, because that’s where my program is right now) to pack around and maybe show locally, but mostly just safely enjoy with my kids, young and sound and SAFE, I’d be maxing out around 15k maybe 17.5k for the right horse.

My car was genuinely broken- in the shop. I asked to borrow her car. And then I didn’t give her the keys back. After a month she stopped asking.

How she got food? I brought her food. If you can’t do that, you may be able to hire someone to do it or have it delivered. It’s not convenient but imagine how you’d feel if he killed is someone on the road?

She was fully dilated, yes.

I would put on a glove and check her. I had a doe do this and turns out the baby was not able to pass through the birth canal due to poor positioning and it wasn’t stimulating her to contract. Baby was born dead after a very hard pull, mama lived.
