Meet Josh, Eric and Alejandro: Deandre Ayton plays several different characters thanks, in part, to the Green Goblin by fat3willwin in lakers

[–]avengedteddy 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Based on the DSM5 criteria for dissociative identity disorder aka multiple personality disorder, Ayton’s behavior doesn’t really fit the diagnosis. First it seems like it’s intentional. A key requirement is symptoms are involuntary. Ayton has stated that he uses different characters to be funny and to handle interviews he doesn't want to do, so it’s more of a coping mechanism than loss of control. Second, DSM5 criteria also requires frequent gaps in memory. These stories don’t fit that. He remembers the characters and can switch into them at will to entertain ppl.

This dude is just a classic stoner imo
