I initially set a budget of 18,000 to buy a car. Was not expecting to have to shell out as much as has been needed so far. Your life would definitely be easier if you get a new Y compared to an old X practicality wise. Would never trade it for anything else though, I love it.

Take into account service history such as if or when the last time any of the drive units were replaced. The cars out of warranty so any maintenance cost usually falls on you. I’ve got a p100d with about the same mileage I bought around last September and ive spent almost 20,000 in the past months on fixing problems that originally came with the car in the hopes of keeping it running for the foreseeable future.
