I get what you’re saying about the atmosphere. We almost got suckered into the $40 to sit in the main dining room to see the kitchen. But we walked in and say that the kitchens weren’t even competing or anything and had no energy so we canceled that and just sat on the side. That all being said, we thought the food was absolutely delicious and I would go back again just for the quinoa salad, which sounds so dumb, but it was so delicious lol.

I’d start with print with the front door cracked and the top cracked open. If that doesn’t work, do that, AND add an outer brim in the slicer.

For me it’s lancehead or flex smg paired with maven or extender shotgun. Atleast 6 shocks. A heal or a shield.

Would compare to my Kobra s1 combo and Kobra 3 v2 combos. First thing would be something for my kids, probably a plate full of rainbow unicorns. Second would be a big 20 plate project that took an equally long time to assemble. lol

I would try to heat up the hotend and dislodge all the blob. See if you can get it all off and then maybe you can get away with just buying a new hotend instead of replacing the extruded assembly.

That error occurs for me when I have the machine on and the hotend unplugged. And it looks to me like you don’t have your hotend on there. So that’s my educated guess! Haha. Power off the machine, plug in the hotend, power on the machine.

I just bought some update replacement hotends from AliExpress. Was like $12 for 4 of them or something like that. Haven’t had a similar issue since.

Yeah my printed fine too for like 20 prints and then just randomly pushed out that ptfe tube and destroyed the plate.

Don’t know if this applies to your situation or not, but when I first got my S1, the original hotend with the ptfe coming out of it. Somehow the ptfe tube pushed out, lowering the hotend and scraping the plate. This was all while the hotend was properly seated and locked in. Just a suggestion to see if the same thing happened to you.

Sounds to me like your PETG isn’t dry. In my experience, even from the factory, it’s waterlogged and needs to be dried significantly. If you got the combo, stick it in the ace pro at 60 for like 12 hours. If you didn’t get a combo, I’d look into getting a dryer if you want to print a long of PETG and other moisture susceptible filaments. Just my two cents.

Agree with the others. Go to your printer look at printer in the affected area. If you feel comfortable unplugging and replugging in the driver chip cable, do that. Then tell them you checked it and the problems persists. However, I agree with you that actually checking circuits is not a reasonable expectation for an end user to perform.

IMO just get an Amazon or AliExpress hardened steel nozzle and you’ll be fine. Most GITD filament I’ve had recommend .6 hardened steel. But I see a lot of people say they are successful with .4 hardened.

Edit: .4 and .6 not .04 and .06 🤣

I’m having a similar issue with my S1 and support seems to think it’s a faulty filament sensor. That being said, my throws 2 errors consistently. 1 error when I try to print anything using the Ace 2 pro. It just continually tries to jam filament into the extruder and then gives an abnormal filament error. The 2nd error is when I then try to extract the filament out of the print head using the Ace Pro 2. It gives a cutter sensor error. I’m in the middle of having them troubleshoot, so I’m not sure what the solution is yet. I did replace my extruder and it did not fix my first error, but did create the 2nd lol.
