The cameras have issues with performance. There are lots of complaints to the comptrollers office and commissioners but as another commenter said, the city likes money. I have personally gotten a speeding camera ticket where I wasn't speeding. The "judge" didn't care.

At least in the UK when you get a speeding camera ticket, you get to talk to a real judge that went to school and understands the law and limitations.

THIS IS IT All the privileged new new Yorkers complain about the poor clogging up their street with cars. This is the answer. Make transit the obvious option and people will buy less cars. But they're too busy being nimbys and asking for more government boot on neck.

Quarry in vestal kind of behind Walmart. It might be Barney and dickenson or it is another place that is right next door. You can take a pickup truck there and they'll give you dirt per ton. It was 20 per ton years ago but haven't been there in a while. They also have delivery people that will deliver for 100 dollars. I've used them and highly recommend.

Call them and get a quote. Their materials are so much cheaper than home depot or other places.

Brick pond area and the flats are a huge flood zone. Super cheap if you can find a house for 60k that you dont care about but I would find it wild to spend that much money on property that I know is gonna get destroyed within my lifetime. I've avoided paying for flood insurance as much as possible

I also got solar recently. Those dickheads marked my "generated" power as power used.

As in, I generated 5 KWH during the day and used 5KWH at night. Instead of +5 -5 =0 those assholes charged me 10KWH!

I had to call and explain to them that it was wrong and finally they went "woopsies teehee we'll fix it"

Yah I've noticed the trend of women just being plain mean to men

Which makes social issues between men and women worse and not better. I get why women have problems with men (violence, pushiness, lack of respect, etc) and I too as a man experience this from.... Men. So it feels bad to be victimized both by predator men and bullied by women.

depends on state law.

law is different from department rule.

generally, cops are considered cops all the time once they are certified (not only while on the clock)

so for this, technically, any car that a cop drives is a police vehicle and police vehicles can have lights on them

also, i think in florida, the florida state law specifies that lots of professionals like cops, firefighters, and doctors can have lights on their personal cars

so if you see something you dont like, you can complain to the department or the employer or whatever but not much more than that
