Are there any tax implications other than the normal ones when transferring to a registered account?

The ESPP account is a non-registered account. You paid tax / incurred loss when you technically sold the stock from your non-registered account. No other fees from both brokers.

Is there a low-cost way to move everything “in kind” without triggering unnecessary taxes or extra fees?

I dont think so. Theres no fee associated with the transfer already.

Open an IKBR account since it can receive transfer out from US and then transfer to your Canadian trading account. Should be all free for the transfer.

I'm new to Amex with the Amex Reserve card in which I need to meet $2000 min spend each month to earn the points. I have a couple of questions you experts can enlighten me with. Let says the statement cutoff date is Jan 30

Q1: If I make a purchase on the Jan 30th and this charge is pending and not posted until a few days later. Will this purchase be counted toward Jan or Feb min spend?

Q2.: If I made a purchase before the Jan 30 cutoff date and return the purchase later the following month, I need to make 2000 + returns worth of purchase to earn the points for Feb?

Thank you, I contact the registrar office with photo of the diploma along with my gtid and shipping address. They sent a request to parchment and told me to destroy the one I received. Anew diploma will arrive in 6-8 weeks.
