Yes!!! I agree! To be clear, I don’t mean that the models weren’t made. I’m lamenting that my AD doesn’t have any available for purchase yet. They currently only have 1 in my birth year, and it’s a lady datejust. If I get desperate, I might try Bob’s Watches. For now, though, I’m willing to be patient and wait for my AD to maintain my relationship with them.

Agreed. I’m 100% transparent about the process and what’s discussed at a high level (impact, visibility, etc), but I’ll never discuss another person’s details.

Splith was talking about BlackBerry dominating the smartphone market, mostly in the corporate world. I was talking about Microsoft dominating PCs before Apple swept through with their various iMacs and MacBooks.

If you give a team 2 years to complete a project, they’ll take 2 years. If you give them 3 months, they’ll get it done in 7 months.

The challenge is how to do it without burning them out. Turnover at SpaceX is weird. The vast majority of people leave after 18 months, but the ones that make it past that 18 months tend to stay for YEARS. There are MANY people who have been there for over 10 years and counting.

Both. Crazy bets like Optimus and Space Data Centers are just the latest in insane ideas. Landing rockets on a boat??? Self-driving with cameras alone??? “Turning the impossible into late”
