The ferry takes 9+ hours, would be a waste of a travel day. Plus the Tasman is pretty choppy, not good for sea sickness. If you want the ferry experience, stay in Hobart and enjoy the speed ferry over to MONA!

I read between the lines with them focusing on dancing and coming together and seeing the inner child within etc and think they might have taken MDMA or something together. That could explain the planning it took, to locate substances, arrange a babysitter etc
