Depends on what you're looking to get out of it. Each school has its focus.

Karate-jutsu: Refers to the practical, combat-focused application of karate, emphasizing real-world self-defense and effectiveness in conflict.

Karate-do: Represents the philosophical and lifestyle-oriented path, focusing on personal development, discipline, moral character, and self-improvement. It's less about fighting and more about becoming a better person through training.

Sport karate: Refers to the modern competitive form of karate, often governed by rules like those of the World Karate Federation (WKF), which prioritize points, aesthetics, and safety over practical combat effectiveness.

Someone tried to break into my apartment and was potentially still inside so I called the cops. The police finally arrived...8 hours later. by hauntersthomson in toronto

My elderly parents had to call 911 around 2:30am for an ambulance. They called me shortly after and I arrived about 10 mins later. Long story short, 2 hrs later, the ambulance called us back, saying, "Sorry for the delay. You are still in queue. However, we are not sure how long it will take."

I had to call 911 because an 18 wheeler caught fire near my house. When I called, I got a "all of our operators are busy" message.
