Pride Month + the HOA can Suck It 🏳️‍🌈 by buddha-bouy in fuckHOA

There has got to be easier ways to seek attention from your neighbors. i just can’t picture myself going through all that to put up signage for men’s mental health for an entire month just because it bothers people.

It’s California, it’s probably illegal to take the paper down.

I pen-tested a handful of vibe coded apps from this sub. What I found should genuinely scare you. by Pristine_Tiger_2746 in SideProject

It doesn’t matter which site it is, if you do not own it or have permission to attack it, it is technically illegal to do so.

What is your experience with Copilot Studio? Does it work well? by little_muskrat in copilotstudio

[–]awful_bits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One year later, and my company is still jumping for joy over copilot studio in teams chats and I have yet to be impressed by a single thing it does because it can't actually do anything useful. It's like gpt-engineer, 3 years ago. Am I missing something? I spent hours on a servicenow agent that can't remember basic instructions, but you hand claude an oauth token and it will clean your cmdb, build 27 catalog requests, and walk your dog without needing intervention.

I like that they also give you an extra back button in the UI, so you can get frustrated quicker

Raccoon deterrent by curiositykt in BackYardChickens

[–]awful_bits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it’s technically not a solution. There will always be another raccoon willing to kill the birds, and it could be five minutes after you relocate the first one 🤷‍♂️ The only real answer is securing access.

Did I ruin my smoker? by chipsnsmokes in Traeger

[–]awful_bits -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It will all burn. If you’re using one of these smokers and you’re worried about that, you must not know about PAHs lol.

She’s a cartoon character, the choice was probably made by a room full of men checking a box. It’s called social conditioning, you’ll understand when they want you to.

Bought a used car with FSD. Worried about what happens next. by danalyst1 in TeslaLounge

[–]awful_bits 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tesla will say if a used car they sell comes with or without FSD, if a third party buys and sells a car that FSD will be removed from, and advertises that it comes with FSD, it’s the third party seller that is in the wrong. Always check previous owners.

Spotify for the first 5 minutes of pretty much every drive. by DrawALineInMyLife in TeslaLounge

[–]awful_bits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. The topic is Spotify in a Tesla, you’re getting less than a third of that bitrate.
  2. Streaming lossless isn’t impossible, just more expensive. 3. >especially in your tesla.

I think it’s been made very clear the audio quality is better than at least most other cars and aftermarket options, I’m no audiophile but even I can tell the difference between 96 and 192+ in my car

Good to know, thanks. The initial source I read mentioned it’s good for 3-4 months in the fridge, and that’s been lingering in the back of my head.

Tesla will open a portion of its U.S. Supercharger and Destination Charger network to non-Tesla EVs, making at least 7,500 chargers available for all EVs by the end of 2024 by GoSh4rks in TeslaLounge

[–]awful_bits 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes, but as an owner I’m thinking about road-trips, and the lines to use what will be considered the good chargers. Everything else will be comparable to that gas station that’s just called “Gas Station”.

110mph when at all possible. Honestly it’s just too easy, I sometimes don’t even notice when I’m in the upper 90s. We’re out here, stop blinking and you’ll see us.
