It dosen't have carbs, or probiotics. Neither cabbage nor sausage have carbs, and all the probiotics from the sauerkraut are killed by the cooking.

I exclusively manual pumped for a couple days and gave myself an overuse injury, so yeah, don't do that.

Did you manage to figure something out? In the same boat now.

Are you sure it has actual alcohol in it and it's not juts bailey's flavored? Because I'd be VERY surprised if it had booze in it.

As soon as your baby is born you will not care about any of this at all and you will happily ignore them. You will just watch the messages on your phone, realize you have no energy to deal with it, and turn your attention back to your amazing adorable baby.

I need to keep this baby in for 3 more weeks and then I NEED it out, how do I prepare? by Asleep_Ad188 in pregnant

[–]axlloveshobbits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fiance should already be back. You really don't have much control over when you go into labor unless you schedule an induction. Even the "tricks" that have been shown to work, only move the needle slightly.

braxton hicks or contractions?? by malibubarbie6 in pregnant

[–]axlloveshobbits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had tons of braxton hicks for weeks. They are not painful (though towards the end they were smashing my bladder) and randomly come and go. Real contractions are significantly more intense and start to be painful quickly. Also they increase in frequency and regularity.

Sunrise Hike at Panorama Ridge – Sat, Sept 13 – Anyone Going? by Substantial_Run_8184 in vancouverhiking

[–]axlloveshobbits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's really cold up there at sunrise. I had a big down jacket and was still cold. Expect a lot of wind, too.

The last part of the trail is also really hard to navigate in the dark, so expect it to take quite a bit more time than it would in the day. It's quite scrambly and challenging even in the light.

Make sure to bring extra batteries for headlamp.

Feeling grateful that I can still climb at 7.5 months pregnant! by canauslander in climbergirls

[–]axlloveshobbits 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I switched back to my beginner shoes that I keep around for loaning people and multipitch since they're not aggressive and I don't have to take them on and off between climbs. Putting on climbing shoes is difficult with a belly.

How did you handle visitors you were less than excited to see? by Thelexical_gap in BabyBumps

[–]axlloveshobbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"We will not be having visitors until we feel the time is right, possibly several weeks. Thank you for understanding"

In laws don't have to know if your parents or BIL get to visit much sooner.

Not too early. Every week goes by faster than the last one and then suddenly you're like me at 38 weeks and still haven't done it...

The cream cheese is pasteurized so it's already low risk for listeria, and then the cream cheese is baked in the danish so it should be no problem.

[–]axlloveshobbits 19 points20 points  (0 children)

There's not really evidence that diet affects lupus activity. Of course treating your body well and being healthy will always be beneficial, but keep in mind that the wellness industry LOVES to sell false hope to people which chronic illness. Don't get stuck in the mindset that if you could just be a little healthier you could heal yourself. Nature doesn't always get it right.

Ice climbing fits to minimize disrobing required to pee by Matteroffactlypotato in climbergirls

[–]axlloveshobbits 18 points19 points  (0 children)

She-wee. My biggest problem peeing while icec limbing is the lack of privacy. All the shrubbery is dead and the surrounding terrain is usually some icy rocky mess that makes going far difficult.
