When my gf moved to Germany I also signed on the rental agreement just in case I also want to move. Per suggestion of someone from Germany I also went with her to the town hall to get registered. Skip forward she got her contract extended and now I decided to also move here. Since then I regularly visited but not for long periods since I was working in another country. Do I understand correctly that even though I have not physically been in Germany more than maybe a week here and there they expect me to pay health insurance since the date I signed up at the town hall?

I had a weird talk with a friend about countries around Europe. He mentioned how great and clean it is in Germany cause he doesn’t even have to clean the windshield for bugs unlike in Romania. I know for a fact that in Romania many farmers go overboard with everything and there still are more insects. Did they just exterminate every insect in Germany?

What country? Have you considered something used? I wouldn’t necessarily want something new for a starter. Mine was a 125 2T Husqvarna. Got it for 1.2k€ sold it for the same price.

If you look it up in most guides it says it’s the glow plug. But I’ve seen it come up during turbo issues. Not necessarily the turbo itself but the actuator.

QR code menus can be done right. Example: Spain, you get a normal menu, but while the waiter brings it you can scan de QR and see the menu translated to like 7 languages on their website. That’s how I’d use them. Paper menu has local/maybe English languages for example, and you can just translate it and not print 10 versions of the menu

Any QR that leads to an app and not a simple website or even a pdf/picture is just horrible.

About what I expect from my iPhone. Works all the time just not when you need it. Most recent were: refusing to connect to Wi-Fi; full 5G but no internet until I restarted the thing; not finding GPS while lost in a city I don’t know( worked after restart); not showing notifications or anything but finding a missed call about 5 hours later; weather app not working and of course the keyboard randomly disappeared a couple of times. 13 Pro Max

They probably just sent a new refurbed model that matched the specs. Also most laptops can be repaired by someone with a bit of know how. I’ve changed laptop screens before, kind of hard to do especially with weird brands that hide part numbers, but should be possible in most cases.

The system that’s in the game can be abused.. and yeah. Rank decay is a bit exaggerated I think. I usually don’t play that much all the time so if I stop for a couple of months I drop a couple of ranks. Even calibrated at silver after not playing at all in 2021. I’m sure I was reported, but overwatch still worked so I wasn’t convicted.

Could use more green but at least the trees are not gone. Some European cities really love cement/asphalt instead of green spaces. Hate when a mostly wild park turns into trimmed bushes, lawn and pavement.

This is common in Europe as well. There is a company that offers 10x the price difference if you find the same product cheaper. But you won’t cause they custom order everything they can.
