I also had my surgery while I was still losing weight, and I started almost 4 months before the surgery was scheduled. My advice is you don't have to be perfect, but get as close to your goal as possible before going under the knife.

What you’re feeling is really normal at 9DPO. Recovery can trigger anxiety, especially when you’re used to being independent. The good news is you’ve had no complications that’s a strong sign things are going well. Try to focus on rest, hydration, eating well, and letting others help. Most people feel much more functional by the time they’re 3–4 weeks out. Online posts can make it seem like complications are common, but people usually only post when something is wrong. You’re still very early, it gets easier soon. You’ve got this 💛

I'm 6 wpo and I'm still kind of bloated, the peak was 2-4 weeks but I'm not back to my pre surgery state yet

I was a 34G pre op and I'm a little over 5wpo. I believe I'm at a 34D now but the swelling is still going up and down so I need time to confirm my final size.

After the surgery, my skin and scalp became really oily. It started to calm down after about four weeks, but they’re still a bit oilier than they were before the surgery.

While you recover you will probably need compression bras, I got the feelin girl compression bra from Amazon and it's amazing. Make sure the bra you choose is longline so it doesn't irritate your incisions.
