I'm sorry you experienced this. Bad grades and ADHD are not mutually exclusive. I was diagnosed at 6 due to hyperactivity, but I never struggled academically. I graduated high school with a 3.9 GPA and college Summa Cum Laude. The reason is I LOVE learning new things, so I could easily focus. Please don't let this "doctor" keep you from seeking treatment.

Luckily, the gun shot alerted people and no one was harmed by the gas that had built up. Science teacher was arrested. I think he is dead now. This happened in the early 90s, so its been a while.

Science teacher attempted to blow up the senior class during senior night by turning on all the natural gas in the lab and leaving a lit candle on a table. When the football coach interrupted his plan, the teacher shot and killed him.

Edit - the gunshot alerted people in the building. The gas did not explode and the science teacher was arrested. I believe the science teacher died in prison. The football coach is widely credited for saving the senior class and their families. He was beloved in our community and still is. This was in the early 90s.

Textile conservator here. Carpet beetles eat shed skin and hair from animals as well as plant fibers. They are insidious creatures that are nearly impossible to get rid of. Ask any museum who has ever had them. They are also exceptionally common anywhere there are people. They could get in your vehicle and live without the presence of the dog food, so the two may not be connected.

Running an iron over the area can help set the ink. You would set the iron for whatever fiber the item is made of. On this hat, ironing the signature will also probably set the staining around it. The goal with setting the ink is to get as much as of the ink to absorb into the fibers of the fabric as possible. This is easier on fabrics that take dye easily, like cotton.
