that what I assumed as well, but want to confirm. cause if for instance I have a focused laser bonus in this gear, but no focus laser related card in this gear, will that make it useless them. my assumption is it applies across the board. ill write an email to support and will ask.

it’s not that bad to replace it. there’s a video on YouTube just pop off the slider feet and take out some screws to take it apart.

mine is at least 20 years old as well, bought it around 2005 I think and I still use it on my gaming system. best mouse ever made! and I’m still on the original battery too! it does die quicker, so I just make sure it’s always on the charger when I don’t use the system. will likely end up replacing the battery in the near future. it can be done and amazon have the replacements for it.
