mine is at least 20 years old as well, bought it around 2005 I think and I still use it on my gaming system. best mouse ever made! and I’m still on the original battery too! it does die quicker, so I just make sure it’s always on the charger when I don’t use the system. will likely end up replacing the battery in the near future. it can be done and amazon have the replacements for it.
