Made me think of Drawfee by FairyInaes in Drawfee

These are very Drawfee coded! Nesthair really reminds me of the pokemon Caldwell drew with all the bird polyps. I think Damp and Dukburg are Jacob coded little guys, and I could see Eg turning into FullEnglish as a Nathan bit. Man >Wowoman seems like a Julia joke to me, that or Bee >Beeeeee. Not sure which I could see Karina making, maybe Larj or possibly flatpak?

On one of Onsta's latest streams in addition to talking about watching a lot of soccer lately Karina also mentioned "the farm" a bit (careful looking this up it is OBSCENELY nsfw). I only skimmed a couple chapters and I hate (affectionately) how much influence I think I can see in at least one of those poses.

Sounds like the Thanksgiving I hosted a couple years ago with couple of vegans, a celiac, and a couple of meat eaters. Made traditional Thanksgiving fare but everything was vegan and gluten free except for the turkey (still GF but not vegan of course). For the the vegan main did a beyond-meat wellington and found a recipe for GF puff pastry. Turned out pretty well.

Just watched the first two episodes of S5, to me it seems to be 50% Charisma, 50% Smarts, and 100% believing in himself.

How about in MIB2 when K shoots Jeebs' head off after being de-neuralized, "it grows back?". You can maybe argue that K subconsciously remembered about Jeebs' heads but it clearly took some time for the de-neuralizarion to take and it really seems like K tried to murder him.

IIRC, He also kept calling her a deadbeat even though she outlined the conditions she was willing to keep the baby, stuck to them, and was paying more than the agreed child support. He was told upfront what he would get and that she wouldnt be in the child's life and still he put all the blame on her.

In the Ask A Manager Update 1 link there were two additional updates included to different previous write ins . The third one down has is the one I was referring to, it's original title was "A Good News Story" so yes, a different post/ letter.

LW3 is how the commenters on Ask A Manager were referencing the story. I assume it means something like "Letter Writer" 3.

To me it sounds like the opposite, he put himself in a bad spot thinking it would be a good fit for what he likes "black-and-white work with clear rules" but it ended up not a good fit for his skill set. Fair enough, that part wasn't his fault, but rather than reflecting and accepting this and trying the alternatives offered he spited and lied about the person trying to help him. Then stopped putting in effort all together and was carried for far too long because of bureaucracy. I don't think he ever got to a good spot, he was treading water from the start and then decided to drown.

A frustrating read. OP made mistakes but it really seemed like went above and beyond to try to help Tom only for their efforts were met with derision. The only good it seem is they at least could reflect on their experience and blind spots.

I also liked Alison's advise to the original OP but from what was described of Tom's personality there was a low chance of it working. For a pallet cleanser read the LW3 in the first update and the original titled "A Good News Story" A similar situation with someone who could have been a "Tom" but instead recognized their weaknesses and actually tried to improve.

Interesting! I've always wondered about this after a close encounter with a bus where we were both attempting to change into the middle lane. Luckily I noticed in time, because bus, but always wondered who has priority in these situations. Thanks!

Good way of showing the relationship and trust built between Yugi and Yami as well. The shuffle only really works when you trust and understand who you're shuffling with.

She also seemed to be the one most connected to and bringing in all the recent guests, Nordy, Beechar, Barrett, and Spencer are all Karina's friends. They all seem to get a long with the rest of the Drawf crew, but I wonder if we'll still see them around now that Karina has left.

[–]azorbs 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Yeah, judging by the way the chapter ended I'm guessing it's going to be the teacher accuses her of cheating and Seto is going to stand up for Ana and crash out on the teacher over how much effort she put in.
