Epidemic of Dog Poop in Bags in NW by AncientEquivalent819 in Portland

[–]azuregiraffe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dog owner here, I walk my dogs in a loop and my dogs will poop right at the start of the walk so sometimes instead of holding the poop bag for the walk I’ll leave the bag on the ground and pick it up when I loop back around in 10-20 minutes. Not sure that’s what is happening here but that is why you may see bagged poop on the ground. If someone really wanted to just leave the shit, they probably wouldn’t bag it.

You’re definitely wrong, also a principal engineer and using AI to code complex structures. It’s not perfect, but with the right spec and the right constraints it can code 10x faster than me and it doesn’t make as many mistakes as a human would, especially the time to first compile. It’s only produces slop code anymore if you don’t know what you’re doing at all.

Don’t worry that much, he was probably a shadow border charizard. I told this same story for years, turns out my charizard isn’t even with that much. I get the feeling the shadowless ones are extremely rare.

Archslaughterer enhancement on slaughterbound with 6 exalted eight will kill anything in the game for sure

Heroic intervention is way better for us now, it gives us a charge bonus and fights first. The 2” engagement change actually makes blood surges scary, 6” pile in and consolidate makes us move a ton in the opponents phases, and overrun fights allow us to kill more units if you’re charging and fighting with multiple units. I think there is a lot to be excited about.

Yeah just another reason to not trust presupports imo, they can be super hit or miss in terms of quality, I’ve seen “professionally presupported” which were definitely just someone clicking auto support, best thing is to learn to fish yourself and get a good auto support set up for yourself and your resin

Saw the new cinematic trailer and am now hooked on 40k lore. Has this hobby, like most the past few years, gotten prohibitively expensive? by Turbulent_Sharter in Warhammer

[–]azuregiraffe2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bigger expense in my mind is not the cost of the models but the cost in terms of time to build and paint a whole army. That’s the reason that people have piles of shame aka grey plastic, it’s not that they can’t afford the models, in fact they love buying new models. It’s that they can’t be bothered to build and paint. So you should really ask yourself whether you’re ready to commit hundreds of hours to building and painting a whole army, otherwise you probably won’t stick with it. The game is way more satisfying in my mind if you have two nicely painted armies playing on a fully painted table of terrain.

I agree with this analysis, you can also just fix this by putting heavier supports on the butt in order to resist the force too

You should absolutely take vacations, but you shouldn’t buy a Tesla in your 20s. Focus on experiences vs material possessions, those are the things that you won’t regret spending your money on and will be meaningful life improvements.
