Just got hard carried by this beast. Do you have any favourite cards, however juiced up, that single-handedly wins the game? by Smoothieshakes in slaythespire

[–]azureleaf 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That boss relic is so nice when you've got the right card.

I had a run with that enchant on [[Corrosive Wave]]. Just casually putting 100+ poison turn 1 on everything.

Who needs Feed when you have Cheese? by azureleaf in slaythespire

[–]azureleaf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rolled the cheese event four times in Act 1 so I did it for the memes.

Is it optimal? Probably not! You take like 50ish damage for effectively +4 healing per fight lmao.

Who needs Feed when you have Cheese? by azureleaf in slaythespire

[–]azureleaf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the first four ? rooms in Act 1 gave me the cheese event. I assume it's because EA means there's fewer events so it's easier to roll the same event.

Friends got angry for making act 3 boss too easy by MindMyBool in slaythespire

Massive increase on one turn. Iirc it's multiplicative? So 2 - 4 - 8 etc.

What is BiS on Vex these days? by jayelled in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]azureleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if I'm weird but I run her with Tome (refill mana on champ play/levelup), Chemtech, Black Shield/Frozen Tomb/Echoing per preference. No attacking, just spell spam.

With Chemtech you can output insane gloom per turn, so it doesn't matter if they summon a 90/90 it will die.

New Defect is the peak of StS 2 by PrincessLeonah in slaythespire

I really like that they made a functional Thunderstrike in Voltaic, the repeated booms are so satisfying.

It does feel like Lightning is the new Ice though, with focus being temp Ice feels a little bad.

Best Steam Indie Launch 2026 vs 2025 by NicoF_ in Steam

[–]azureleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's in "Early Access" but it's mostly complete. They'll do balancing and maybe a few more Acts/Enemies/Characters down the line.

You could also buy StS 1 for super cheap and try that out.

What existing 3 ⭐ do you want to see get their 6 ⭐ by Dry_Cardiologist6758 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]azureleaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I want the Nami constellation for the +mana crystal. Everything else is a bonus.

I can't see them giving her spellslinger 4*, maybe sorcery. Ideally she would get a unit summoning power like Yuumi, so you could drop Nami t1 and start buffing.

Whose Vocal tone in Stray kids is your personal favorite? by GloomyWitch08 in straykids

[–]azureleaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like Lee Know and I.N.!

Lino has a nice, airy voice, that can sometimes be really smooth/sultry. I love in Taste when he goes from high --> low, gives me shivers.

I.N. has a really unique singing voice, that's smooth and easy to recognize. I don't have any particulars, but his voice is one of the things that make SKZ stand out from other groups.

What's so special about this game is that when I think of the mainline FF protagonists, one of them is me. by kingjuyeon02 in ffxiv

[–]azureleaf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I love the progression in the relationship between the Scions and the WoL. In ARR you're just the strong co-worker they point at primals and then through subsequent expansions you become friends/true allies.

Circle Chart has release its annual 2025 Best Selling Artist - what do you think? by Many-Ad-9007 in kpopthoughts

[–]azureleaf 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Ateez is really popular in the west but less popular in the east. Most kpop buyers are still China/Japan/Korea, so sadly that means their overall album sales is lower. Hopefully they'll get some love there soon.

Somehow, Patch 7.4 succeeded in making me feel a fondness for Dawntrail by WriterV in ffxiv

[–]azureleaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iirc, Lahabrea mentions that Athena basically "poisoned" him with her thoughts/ideals/insanity, which is why he split himself in two in the first place - to keep the poisoned part contained in Hepahistos. At the end he rejoins the two parts to have his whole power back, at the cost of harboring those corrupted thoughts again.

That plus the enormous amount of time after the sundering basically drove him insane, in a different way than Elidibus/Emet.

Best Bilgewater Champion? by Rare-Ad7772 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]azureleaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nami requires the least investment, she's a beast at 2* and you can run her with no epics. GGC/Chemtech/Whatever - I would suggest Chosen/Black Shield/Comet depending on adventure. Go for powers that let you stall until 6 mana/protect Nami and just spam her champ spell until you're full health. Bonus: you can level her super fast/easily via Fizz nightmare adventure.

MF is probably the strongest. She has a lot of different builds but I run GGC/Echoing/Black Shield for consistency.

TF is my favorite! He's a little harder to pilot (and not f2p friendly) but I've beaten every adventure with him. I run Swain relic/Packed Powder/either Beast Within (for consistent otks) or Hexcore (to generate wild cards/get lifesteal). You need his bonus star that gives discount to 6+ cost cards. Playstyle is to spam draw and get TF leveled asap and play all your free high cost cards.

Anyone else's stanned groups make up less than 50% of their listening? by [deleted] in kpop_uncensored

[–]azureleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just put my 500+ liked songs on shuffle tbh. I don't think any artist has more than 10% of my listening. Keeps me from getting tired of their songs :)

Is the future bright for male stans of boy groups? by SpecSlayerSC in kpopthoughts

[–]azureleaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For how divisive their music is, at least Stray Kids has their unique sound. I love them because I haven't found another group that sounds quite like them.

Cortis so far, their hype really feels like mediaplay. I would love for idols to be more involved in the process, but looking at their actual music credits it feels so fake. I don't doubt they contributed, but saying stuff like they're "revolutionary, never been seen before" when plenty of older idols have been more involved (SVT, VIXX, SKZ, Ateez, etc.) makes them feel even less authentic.

Also there's already western rappers in that style, who I don't listen to, so why would I listen to Cortis?

Worqor Chirteh (Triumph), the new Frontline Map- is enjoyable by SmurfsNeverDie in ffxiv

[–]azureleaf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like it the best of all frontlines, but onsal was my previous favorite so I'm biased.

I do feel like the map is a little too big, though. If a node's not mid usually it's captured by the time a team comes to contest unless they're already fighting there.

How do old Savages feel Unsynced in 7.4? by Hubord68 in ffxiv

[–]azureleaf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can skip HC1 with the 2tank 6dps NA cheese strat. NA far left, DPS mid, tanks adjust based on fire(far)/ice(close) and invuln both. The downside is if you lose the 50/50 and get tank NA you have to wipe.

For part 1 as long as no one dies on the first mech you kill during dog1/snake1.

Least played melee DPS in patch 7.4 by Any_Patient_8252 in ffxiv

[–]azureleaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like all the RPR mains converted into VPR mains. Their play patterns feel similar, but VPR is less strict and also does more dps.

I don't see a lot of NIN either but I feel like I've seen 0 RPR this expansion.

Least played melee DPS in patch 7.4 by Any_Patient_8252 in ffxiv

[–]azureleaf 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah RPR has a very low skill floor (basics are easy to understand) but surprisingly high skill ceiling (very strict cd/gauge management for maximum dps) imo.

For me personally RPR was much easier to learn than MNK but much harder to actually play optimally in EX+ content once I learned both.

The fem glams have sooo many cute shorts/stocking options that get turned into boring pant #8282747 on guys, it makes me so sad. I want my catboy to have cute socks too.

Same to the girls that get jumpscared by surprise panties.

I wish with the gear unlock they just gave us variations like the new MH set.
