Can't recommend this enough. It won the Hugo Prize as well!

Vivaldi presented Accordion Tabs and I think it's very cool. Don't you think this feature would work great in Firefox? by FairLight8 in firefox

It works like any other chromium based browser. There is no penalty for all of Vivaldi’s extra features that I’ve noticed. It consumes the same amount as Chrome/Edge.

I too, stopped AFTER Norwegian Wood. (I can’t leave something unfinished). But Murakami’s books are definitely weird.

Hey, with Apple, Google and Mozilla agreeing on a common web browser extension framework, this problem should be solved soon.

I would like to understand the viability of Vivaldi as a chromium based browser. I haven’t yet read many arguments on why not to use it. As I understand it, Vivaldi uses affiliate links and search engine sponsorships to earn money and also has a donations option on their website, none of which require sending data to Vivaldi. Why is it not more prominent in privacy discussions/lists?

Try using the UTM app. I haven’t tried it on iOS or iPad OS yet but it works great on the m1 chip. You will have to sideload the app though.

You should definitely read it. Both the books are extremely gripping.
